I only update the tracker every two or three weeks. I use the blog, and my fitbit application to jog my memory. And I couldn't find the walk in the blog. What else happened that Tuesday/Wednesday that I would forget? So just make believe it is August 2.

Hellertown Walk
Angel and her daughter picked me up and off to the UPS store we went. Fingerprints done, we hit Giant for some sesame oil, and then it was off to Water Street park. Instead of taking the Saucon Rail Trail we headed north, into the woods.
The "nature trail" is only about a mile loop. It goes past a lot of large pilings, probably from a railroad bridge of some sort. The first half is mostly woods. We went on the unofficial trail. The tween loves the woods.
The unofficial trail goes all the way to Seidersville Road and follows Saucon Creek to the closed Bridge. Of course we walked over the closed bridge. There is a lot of very interesting hunks of cement along the trail, and they are covered with graffiti.
Then we decided to explore the road. If you turned left you went to Lehigh. If you went right, you went to Matey's Crossroads. But before you got there, there was another closed bridge. We decided not to cross that one and instead went into the subdivision. But it was very sunny, so we turned around and went back into the woods.
When we reached the nature trail, we took the other half past the slag fields and around into the park. In total the walk was 3 miles.
