walkless wednesday

Today we were supposed to walk in Backley Creek Park, one section of the Louisville Loop trail. This section has a walking trail. Much of the LL is hiking, sometimes rugged.

But it rained. And we had a four-hour drive ahead. So no walks.

We arrived in Paducah in late afteroon and headed to Hancocks fabric, which is a huge fabric store warehouse for quilters. Then we continued downtown to find th museum for the morning. We walked the riverfront trail to look at the 50 panel mural and train, and then headed back to the hotel.

This town has a lot of ghost signs. I'll be shooting them for my fall classes.
