Today Pam and I did yet another of the trails on the Bethlehem Historic Trail. This time it was the Victorian route. The route was only 3/4 mile (1.5 round trip) so we needed to make it longer.
Tuesday when we were at the Tomb Pat noted what a mess it was. And she had grave cleaner. She would bring it today and clean the stone. So we decided that would be our start point. It would add some distance to the walk as well.
We parked, and headed down First street to Lehigh Street. Out Lehigh to Main, and then out Church to the library.
There we encountered another story walk, and just like Tuesday we read it and did many of the movements.
Then we did some of the children's activities painted on the plaza.
Basically this was a walk out Market street, and we learned about some
of the people and their houses. And a little architecture. The house history is fascinating. There is a ton of information at the corner of Center and Market. One family battling it out for who has the biggest house!
SLF killed: more than fifty in less than 3 blocks
