Yesterday Bonnie stopped by to pick up some Mason jars and lids. And she gave me this. It's a inner support frame that you wear under your mask. They are great if you have to wear a mask for a long period of time. I've been calling it a "cup" because that's what it reminds me of. It pulls the mask away from your nose and mouth. In theory you can breath better and the mask doesn't go into your mouth.
I thought, great, something else to wash and sterilize.
I used it on today's walk and it worked. My mask was not soaked and I could breath just a little better because my mask no longer went over my chin, but covered everything well. My face was not as hot. However, my face was super sweaty where the gizmo touched my skin.
All in all I was surprised. I liked it. They come in packs of three to ten. If I can find someone to share a 3-pack, I think I'll get another one.
BTW: Those little hook attach to the fold of your mask to keep it in place. Kind of like the hooks on a hanger.
