Yesterday I was headed to my sisters house in downtown Bethlehem. I came up Main Street and there were scarecrows everywhere. Apparently they are having a scarecrow showdown as part of a reimagined harvest festival. Though none of the straw people were wearing masks. They all were socially distanced.
After taking Sharon her items, and taking her to the bank and Dollar Tree, I took her home and parked. Then I went on a scarecrow hunt. I found 49. I think they were planning on 100. But I can't find the others.
The bulk were on Main Street between Market and Broad. Then there was a cluster at Broad and Gutter, and another at Broad and New. The final cluster was in the Sun Inn Courtyard.
I probably walked only a mile, but it was fun searching for scarecrows.
