Exercise wise this week has been both good and bad. I guess I'll start with the bad.
I did not take a formal walk yesterday or Wednesday. I just didn't care. Bonnie and I had planned to walk the the opening of the south side farmer's market. But then I remembered that my last Empower Class was rescheduled for that time. Walk cancelled.
Now I had plenty of time to walk. But I choose not too. Instead I sat at my desk all morning and did a typography critique presentation. Whoo Hoo.
I arrived for the rescheduled class to find out that not only was the room was changed, but the time as well. I was 4 hours early. We could have walked to the market.
The class was rescheduled for three, so I went back. I gained 5 pounds during the class, and my BMI went up. She was a great teacher, but I didn't really get new information. And I didn't have the lightbulb moment. If I don't figure out how to stop this, I will have negated all the losses of the last five years. And it really is more than eating less. I have to figure out what the trigger was that started this downward spiral and deal with it.
Tuesday Bonnie and I walked in her neighborhood. That's where I took the pix of the car above. Since she is still fighting her bronchitis, we kept it a level walk. When we got back to her place she was breathing like my father. And he smoked 4 packs of Camels a day. Not good. (She's better today. Better drugs.)
Monday I just walked around the neighborhood.
After I make lunch, I'm headed out for a walk. Then I can read--for work! I need to do a cover design. Anybody have a stuffed Pepe le Pew I can borrow?
