Today was the volkssport walk in south Bethlehem. I'm the POC so I get to lead the walk. But I brought up the rear most of the way. We had nine walkers, including three from PAWS. Can you imagine driving 1:45 to go to one of my walks? I can't. We went to Princeton once. It took forever. And we missed the walkers and had to go it alone.
Walks begin at 10. I arrived at 9:30 and two people were already there. By 9:50 everyone was there, but we waited anyway. It was the same old route except this time I was out of shape. They had to wait for me frequently. I was at least a block and a half behind going up the hill to Lehigh, and maybe three to four blocks behind going out the Greenway. They waited at the entrance of the outlet mall where most had gone inside to use the bathroom. They came out about 30 seconds after I arrived.
The next time I got behind was on the stairs to the HMT. They were all waiting for me at the bottom when I arrived. After that I was generally only about a half block behind. I split off at the 6K mark and went back to the car.
If I'm going to the Olympiad in San Antonio next February, I need to get training.

PPE Found: I was busy talking and didn't count. I saw six at the casino alone.There was a lot.
