five ... six ... can we make it seven?

Yesterday was day 6/20. Maybe I'm actually doing this. Has Gayle gotten her groove back? Today will be the big test. It's pouring.

It's hard to find things at the Yoga studio to take pictures of. Yesterday was very odd, very little yoga, more exercise. And a lot of standing. We even had dumbbells! Pam remarked that it was a whole like Moving With Milly on Mondays. The yoga instructor is going to check it out. I did not fall over with all the balance stuff we did. It was close. I was singing in my head, "weebles wobble but they don't fall down".

Tuesday (5/20) I had to take Sharon to the doctor. In the process we did a bunch of errands including walking around Bed, Bath and Beyond, Michael's, and ShopRite. Then I came home and did some work. At about 3:30 I decided that retail walking at Sharon speed might count as steps, but it doesn't count for exercise, so I grabbed my phone and hit the streets. I got to the top of the hill and was waiting for traffic, when I realized I didn't stop walking up the hill. Woot. Woot.

Plus in the evenings I've been doing a lot of ankle and leg exercises while watching television. It began as a way to keep me from raiding the kitchen, but now it's kind of fun. And maybe I'm burning a couple of calories. In addition I have stopped eating from 8-8. Damn that's hard. That's when all the empty calorie boredom eating begins. But if I do something then I don't go to sleep. It's a vicious cycle.

Wildlife:  Skunk kit (baby) in the middle of the road. It had blood on it. I think it might have been attacked by another animal or maybe grazed by a car. It was in the middle of the day so it was working hard to get home. We didn't see it coming back so hopefully it made it.
