April first. If my mama was alive she'd be 107 today. So I don't think of pranks first, I think it's mama's birthday.
In celebration of the day, and realization that my doctor's appointment is only 20 days away, I decided to weigh myself. It wasn't horrible, but I have gained 10 pounds since mid-January. I need to get those off before the doctor's appointment. That means no food between 8-8 and getting my fat lard butt moving consistently. This week I had Milly Monday, walk Tuesday, chair yoga Wednesday, and walk Friday. I only missed Thursday.
I took Pat out to the butcher, the farm and Dick's Sporting Goods in the morning. Ms. Fancy Pants doesn't like using cans to exercise with Millie. She wanted dumbbells. She is obsessed with purple, so thank goodness the purple were two pounds. While we were out we did a poop-load of little errands. I came home wrapped meat, put food away, and found some snacks for lunch.
I have class on Fridays from 12:45-3:45. When class was over I announced that I'd be going for a 30 minute walk. I stepped out the door and nearly froze with my spring jacket. I came back in for my winter coat. Even wearing that when the wind blew it was brutal.
I went down to Bastian, out Bastian to Sassafras and walked up without stopping. I paused and the top and thought maybe Moving with Milly and chair yoga was actually working. I turned right onto Sioux, and went down Clewell. I crossed Broadway and went up to Seneca. I took Seneca to Bergen, and then made a right on to Delaware Avenue. At Bishopthorpe I headed home.
