This week continued my reign of walking with old people. It's kind of like dog walks. Slow and short. I'd walk early in the morning with Pat, and then go across town and walk twice a day with Sharon. She is now able to go up and down the ramp. That's good because yesterday she had a doctor's appointment.
Today I walked with my friend Pam. We went to Camel's Hump Farm, the other portion of the Johnson estate we went to last week. Pam was sure there were trails and there were.
The "Enchanted Forest Trail" was a tad overgrown, but there were cool things to climb on and thru. All natural. This little gnome guarded the footbridge.
Then we followed the meadow trail which was very sunny. It took us almost out to 191 and we found an access road that we followed for a bit. Then we crossed some fields and found out there was no way back to the trail. We doubled back, past the apiary and picked up the trail.
Then we headed into the community garden space where everything looked yummy. People need to pick their squash. They are close to baseball bat size. THen it was back to the car.
We had horrible storms last night so it was muddy. My walking shoes are on the front porch drying. I should have put bug spray on. It was in the car.
I left the farm and headed to the store to get juice for Pat. She's a juice drinking machine, and socks for Sharon. Then it was off to Sharon's hose to do her walk. After lunch we did Pat's walk.
Miles/Steps: 2.2 miles. (CHF)
