saucon rail trail

Yesterday was Bonnie's birthday. I called her at the crack of dawn to sing happy birthday loud and off key. She didn't answer. When she called back later —after suffering thru her message—she mentioned her car was going in for repairs. Her car place is in Hellertown. I asked if she wanted to walk the rail-trail. She said yes.

I met her at the garage at 8-ish and we drove to the trail head. We walked 1.5 miles out, and 1.5 miles back. And took a selfie. It's been a long time. I don't generally take them when I'm alone.

The trail was about 3/4 shade, which was not so bad. I returned Bonnie to the garage and headed home.

Going to spend the afternoon cooking for the underprivileged... in air conditioning. I'll probably see my brother and his wife there. The teen is going too.
