Today was the first official e2feet (aka Scoobie) outing.Angel's family, Lydia and I walked the the D&L from Allentown toward Bethlehem. We turned at about the 1.75 mile mark, but Angel would have kept going to Bethlehem. Maybe we should have left one car there?
No turtles today, but Lydia took a lot of other pictures. It was nice. The sun played hide and seek and the trail was dry.
(Yep, that's Lyd in the way back. Taking pixs takes time.)
As always, the bathrooms in Allentown parks were closed. At least this time the put up a sign. Note to the parks department-It's spring. Open the dang toilets.
When we arrived home the child, Lydia and I took Adonis out for his walk. Little Miss wanted to hold the leash the whole time but Lydia said no. He is spazzy until he poops. After he pooped we left her handle the leash. She did well considering they have cats.
While the child played with the dog, I did my taxes on Angels computer and Turbo Tax.I got waived for the health care tax. Yeah! A little more money for the dentist.
Then Lydia and the dog went home, and we walked down to Full of Crepe on New Street. Angel has wanted to go there since they opened. The child was unhappy that we were walking until we got there. Then she was a very happy camper.
On the way home we did the Lehigh steps up the hill, but only to Summit street. If we went higher it is tricky to cross Wyandotte. There is a crosswalk at Summit.
Tomorrow I will walk early in the morning. I think Angel might join me.
Next Saturday Eryn, Angel and I are doing the Yunegling. My last pre-paid race.
