it's no joke. it's national walking day!

But first, Happy 100 Mom!

Today is April Fools Day, I haven't seen any good internet pranks yet. But it is also National Walking Day. Even though I knew we couldn't walk together (working stinks!) I figured we'd all walk alone, where we were.

The first person who sent me a photo was Angel.  It was before 9:30. She walked from her place to the DMV. Then chronicled the adventure in her blog. Let's say she share's my feelings about missing sidewalks and idiot drivers. She did about 2.5 miles.

The next person I heard from is Bonnie. She and her friend Wally walked in Southeast Allentown/Salisbury. They did about 3.75 miles. Which is excellent considering radiation ended less than a week ago. She also tried a big hill for the first time since radiation. She now has a new Wednesday walking buddy.

Megan walked today at her job.

Pam and I were part of the lunch break group. We went out a noon, and walked the College's side of College Hill. Crossing Cattell takes too long. And is dangerous to boot. We had a little time left so we looped thru the quad before going back to Markle. We did about 3 miles. And a bunch of hills.

I stopped dead in my tracks—crocus! The first I've been able to take a picture of. I have no idea what street we were on.

Lydia walked after work with Adonis. He even cooperated for a selfie. She didn't post how far they went. I haven't heard from Dawn or Kathy yet. If more pixs or stories come, I will post them.
Tomorrow, Bonnie and I are trying to walk. We have to squeeze it in between the dentist and wellness class.

This was really fun. We should do it again.

Yesterday I hardly walked at all. I spent the day grading and running errands. I collected up the Volkssports numbers. Bought flowers for the cemetery. Composted. I still have to turn the Volkksport numbers in.

Monday I walked at lunchtime.
