may days #1

I have decided that in May I will exercise every day. I have zero excuses not too. School is over except for final grades. It's warm. And my sister is in the hospital. Short of mowing the lawn and cleaning I've got nothing better to do. I sure don't want to spend it all online or buried in a book.

I did mow the lawn this week on Wednesday, I think. It was tough. I needed some of my friend's goats to eat it down. (Congrats on the new kids!) But alas all I have is feral cats.  They sit at the back door and meow for food, but when you appear in the doorway they dash away.

Yesterday it rained a lot. There was a break and I decided to take a quick walk. The hospital has the home phone so if I leave the house that's when they call. (Yesterday, no call.)  I was a block away from the house when the sky opened up.

Later in the day, I signed up for a virtual 5K with my friend Pam and her friend Lisa. We are a team called "easily distracted". Perfect name, right?

Since I've been walking with Pam on the canal, I haven't walked as much in the neighborhood. Today I did. This time it did not rain. I should have taken a trash bag. On Broadway, I found these painted rocks. There were lots more in solid colors. I think homeschool art class. Let's decorate the garden kids!

It wasn't a long walk because I was waiting for the hospital and car repair shop to call. They didn't. I ended up calling the hospital again. Really, if you don't allow visitors the least you could do is to call the family. I'm really pissed. Can you tell? I wish Elin was alive. I'd sic the pitbull on them.

Miles/Steps:              1
Weather:                   63, overcast
PPE found:                1 mask, 1 clear glove, 2 blue gloves at different places, a pair of men's undies, and a condom. I'm guessing they are from the same person.
