tuesday

Yesterday I walked in Fountain Hill. This is one of my standard town walks and hardly worth a blog post, but if I'm going to walk everyday this summer, I need to be held accountable.

I went up Bishopthorpe to the hospital and that's when I discovered things had changed. Last year I reported that the stairs were removed. Now the entire area has been landscaped. And there is a waterfall of rocks in the corner. I didn't have my phone with me, so I'll need to go back up and take a pic.

Then it was out Jeter, Russell, and Stanley. Around the Wawa, up Smiley and back Sioux.

52-hike challenge: 24/52
Miles/Steps:   2+ miles
Weather:         low 70s, at 7 am. Sunny.

Extra:              Found out that a neighbors wife is in the hospital. He's probably in his 80s, but is enjoying a few days of Bachelorhood. The kids keep wanting to come help and he says no way.
