red day
Today, Pam and I walked on the Jordon Creek Parkway in Whitehall. This was only the second time I've been here so I wasn't real familiar with the park or it's trails.
This park has a Disc Golf course and Pam's family plays the game so we checked out the course as we walked. It's an out and back trail that is macadam, changes to gravel, and then back to Macadam. There were no maps so we didn't stray off the main path.
I took my umbrella along but didn't carry it. It's a good thing, the sun kept trying to come out.
Why did I title this red day. The leaves were all green. We weren't wearing read either. It was the wildlife. It was all red!
52-hike challenge: 25/52
Miles/Steps: 3 miles
Weather: low 60s, at 7 am. Overcast, then partly sunny.
Wildlife: A red fox. A pair of red-headed ducks. Two male (red) cardinals. And a red squirrel. (Plus two blue jays, but they didn't fit the color profile!)
Extra: Last week I bought new sneakers. I finally wore them today. They were comfy. But then, they were the same as every pair of sneakers I buy so why shouldn't they be comfy?
