Today I did a modified version of the Bethlehem-South Volkssport walk. Most significantly I did it backwards. I started at the end and worked my way back.
I was hoping to get a picture of the new mural at the end of the Fahy Bridge (Barb it's on "McCrory's"). I took a pic of the mural up close, but I like the Philly style of this one where you can see both murals and a planter.
These run along the bottom of the Charter Arts High School. They are almost touching the sidewalk. The kids also did a Haring-style flower planter.
Meanwhile, on the Greenway, a triangular informational kiosk was installed.
One thing about the south side. It's always changing.
Miles/Steps: I'm guessing 4
Weather: Low 70s, at about 2pm. Sunny.
$ Found: 1 penny
Extra: A tree fell over on Itaska and Fiot just before I arrived there. No people or cars were hit.
