Today I went out on the Nor Bath Trail with one of my former Girl Scouts. And of course I fell. Embarrassing. Especially since it's been awhile. We had done about a mile and a half and had turned around to head back to the little loop. It was at a bridge. I was practicing not looking down and involved in conversation.
This hand hit got the brunt of the moving portion of the fall. I dripped blood for the next mile. By the time we returned to the car it stopped, so we did another two miles.
This hand is a problem. While eating dinner and waiting out the storm, I couldn't put the little finger right next to the other one. I was considering a doctor. Test out that new health care card. But the deductible would have killed the budget.
I could move it and bend it. Which made me think it wasn't busted. Probably jammed.
Anyway, I kept the hand wrapped around the glass of ice, and my finger moved back next to the other one. Since I arrived home, I have tapped them together. If I move it a certain way, it hurts. So I will just not move it that way.
I also have brush burns on my knees.
And of course my glasses are bent out of shape.
All in all not my worse fall. No souvenir rocks in my head.
Bathroom scale: right on the trail. I don't have a scale for that.
