Today is fitness in the park day. It is also birthday adventure day. It is a full day.
I went for a short walk to make sure I got my hills in, then it was off to take the twins and the teen to the VR Cafe for the birthday adventure. I gave them an hour. Kool J really was being seduced by the big screen tvs and video games. I told him he could do that at home. We came for VR.
It probably took 15 minutes to get them geared up and the tutorials running. Because it took so long they got an extra 7 minutes. They could watch as much of the tut as they wanted, and as soon as they picked a game the time started.
It was like watching slo-mo ballet or tai chi. I think they had a good time.
After dropping off the teen, we came here and did yard work, then it was time to go to the fitness class.
When I arrived I was the only one there. Finally someone else came. There was about half as many people as normal. Must have been the holiday. And that included two new people. We started wth the track, as always, and then moved thru the stations. This weeks theme was upper body. Many of the stations were the same as last week. Some were new. One was called the crash ball. It was 10 pounds. You put it over your head and then slammed it to the ground. As the ball is coming down, you come down in a squat. Or not.
Next weeks theme is abs. Ick. I'm praying for rain.
