walking vacation, day 4

We took it easy today walking only two miles on the Anchorage (Kentucky) Trail.

This trail is located in a small town that was once filled with zillion dollar estates. I swear the trail is in one of them.

The begins as brick. Not plain brick, by brick in a herringbone pattern. there are columns and bridges. About a 1/4 mile in it changes to asphalt. There are side trails also made of asphalt, dirt, and bridal paths too. Toto, we aren't in Kansas anymore.

I looked online for information but found nothing.  But if you are ever in Anchorage, check it out.

The rest of the day was spent hanging out with my sister, shopping and seeing Jersey Boys.

Today we are taking our nieces to Frankford for a Volkssport walk.
