Eryn, the kids, a couple of her friends were all supposed to do the Kidney Walk today. For me it's a walk in the park, literally. It's maybe a mile ... and a half.I wasn't sure what time it started so I went online last night to see and found this message:
“IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!
DUE TO THE POUNDING RAINS THE LAST FEW DAYS; THE LEHIGH VALLEY KIDNEY WALK HAS BEEN CANCELLED.’’
Say what? Why didn't I get an email? The only thing I can think of is that I used a work address instead of my walking one. But why. I would have show up there this morning for no reason what so ever. I wonder how many people did.
