Will I get sued by Nike for using that? Will a little copyright symbol help?
Today I woke and and was determined I would not repeat Friday. I came downstairs and Pat started jammering about something and I picked up the paper. No, I told myself. Walk damnit. Get your butt out the door.
So i'm house sitting for a friend and decided to grab the key and check the house. Then continue my walk. I did. Once I had crossed Broadway I was in the grove. I walked up Bishopthorpe, Out Seneca, crossed Delaware at rush hour, and headed down Cherokee (there's a reason they call this section of town "Indian Hills"). I came down Brighton and headed out Ostrum, reminding myself once again that this street was no place to be walking when shifts change. But I never remember until I get there. And finally worked my way home.
It was a good walk, not a particularly long one. Maybe 2 miles. But it had a few good hills.
And I did it.
