nor'easter splat

The Jersey shore is getting hit with the brunt of the nor'easter. We only got maybe an inch. It's very fine and very light. The wind is high and it looks like a blizzard.

At lunchtime I was frustrated with work and decided I'd take the dog for a walk, bring him back and then continue on. That was not meant to be. We were coming back Broadway and there was a little ice under the snow, I slid, fell and tumbled over the curb into the slush on Broadway.

Thankfully a man was shoveling his walk and helped me up. It is hard to get up just so,  plus I had the dog. My left leg really hurt. It's better now but sitting is tough. I might have to break down and take some generic Aleve.

I walked home soaked. My pants, my coat, my underwareand gloves. All drenched. It was the longest three blocks ever. When I stripped off my clothes my left leg was bright red.

I decided maybe I should do a Walk At Home tape tonight. Or maybe one from Prevention. Michele, the walking coach uploaded some yesterday.

After warming up, I went out and shoveled. We only got about 1 inch. Maybe a little more.

I was feeling cooped up, so at dusk I went with the dog and Lyd to the graveyard. The sunset was gorgeous.
