the mosey wood effect

I have three or four t-shirts that are made of this super soft cotton, like a babies diaper. I wear them all the time walking. One is my Mosey Wood t-shirt that I bought during the 75th anniversary celebration about three years ago.

Every time I wear my Mosey Wood shirt someone comments on it. The conversation always turns to summers at Mosey Wood and Girl Scouts. Pretty much without fail.

Today I walked at Trexler Park. I was barely on the track and it happened again. "Mosey Wood! I loved Mosey Wood as a girl. It seems like a lifetime ago."

The Mosey Wood effect. It's real. And it lasts a lifetime.

Miles/Steps:  3
Bathrooms:   none used
Wildlife:        lots of insects singing. A blue jay. A cardinal.
Weather:       Sunny, low-70s.
$ found:        none
Extras:          I've been looking for Eclipse glasses. Can't find daddy's eclipse glass from the blast furnace. But I needed to buy them a month ago. Once the article hit Sunday's paper everyone was sold out. Since I was in the neighborhood, I pulled into the science center. None there either. Guess I'll be watching it on the internet.
