For this mornings "Walk with a Doc" in Tatamy, I was at the wrong one. I pulled into town and parked at the trail head at Bushkill Street and Main Street. Basically at the Tatamy side of the new bridge. And I waited. Nobody came.

Then I thought, maybe it was Bushkill drive, so I drove out the drive to Forks. Nada. I came back. Waited some more. Then I decided to actually use the iPhone for something other than a camera and phone. I logged into Facebook and checked out the event. (Don't worry. I didn't get all wild and crazy and download the app. Heaven forbid.) It said to meet at the trail head on Bushkill street, at a Wellness Center. Well clearly there wasn't one of those. There was a kiffle store. (Which I forgot to go to on the way home. Dang it.) It's address was something like 11. The address on FB was the 300 block.
It was 9 am and I got back into the car and headed toward the 300 block. No time to walk. I got there and they were still doing speeches. Yeah! Then the group headed out the trail toward Easton. We went about 1.5 miles one way, turned around and came back. It was a gentle uphill both ways, which I found quite odd. Even odder, my Fitbit didn't record the hills.
Afterwards there was water and fruit. Also they wanted to start a data base of BP's. So I volunteered. I thought it was quite odd to take a blood pressures after walking. We were going at a good clip and probably finished in about 50 minutes. Mine was 132/68. I think that was good. She gave me a card but I entered it into the Health app that came on my phone.
Where I parked is an old grist mill and cottage. They are covered with trompel l'oeil. Here the window is real but the squirrel and the dog aren't. And they look like they are painted on. But wait. There's more.
What is real and what is fake?
What about here? I guess the garage door gives it away.
It was a good walk.
