20 walks till christmas

Angel and I were in Philly for the Jack Daniels 5K packet pickup. It looks like the 5K will never leave the lots we were in. That is a large area. We arrived almost an hour early, as there was no traffic. Even on 95! It was wonderful.We were planning on maybe doing a Philly Volkssport walk, but they were at 4th and Arch. pretty much the other side of town.

Today's walk was around Citizen's Bank Park, The Wells Fargo Center, and it might have cruised past the LINC. Basically we wandered, making sure that the ball park was always within sight. All in all we did more than two miles.

As a bonus, I got my picture-taking out of the way. No stops during the race.

The tree above is in front of  Citizen Bank Park. I also took the menorah, but I'll save that for tomorrow, the first day of Hanukkah.

After pick-up, we checked our timing trips. Can't get used to seeing that 60 there. Ugh.

In the courtyard there was this huge chair. I didn't try to get on. I knew I'd fail. Angel did try. it was too high even for the strong-girl.

Finally, A look at the swag. We'll also get a thermal coffee mug filled with a Hot toddy spiked with Jack.

The race is Sunday.
