17 walks till christmas

Monday Bonnie and I did the second 5K of the Allentown Volkssport walk. We do the Cedar Creek Park portion frequently.

This portion walks thru some neighborhoods, then into Trexler Park and up to see General Harry. Then out of the park and pretty much straight up Chew Street to Muhlenberg College.

No many opportunitites to take photos. There were a few simply decorated houses, but west Allentown is known to have a large Jewish population, so that does not surprise me. If someone would have had a menorah on their lawn, or a giant dreidel, I would have taken a picture of it.

Lucky for us, the college was tastefully decorated with wreaths.

After walking I did some work at home, then went to class.

After class I went to Target to pay my bill and was sure to buy hot chocolate at Starbucks in the "anti-Christmas" cup. Cup-gate aside, the only thing I require from a cup is that it holds liquid and eventually decompose. Foam cups don't.
