The monks are back. This time they are on the Lafayette campus. So yesterday I decided to walk over and see the sand mandela.
The campus is awash in Tibetian flags blowing in the wind. And national flags because it's international student month. The quad was pretty.
The first thing I encountered was this couch. The lawn was filled with people enjoying the sun. Every chair was filled. Not this couch. The sign says "the conversation couch". They want you to have a dialogue about faith issues. Clearly nobody was interested.
When I arrived a Hogg Hall they told me to take off my shoes. These are my type of people. Sadly, they were giving a lecture so I couldn't see the mandela. I stayed for awhile and then finished my walk.
