Megan was the latest to "arrive" Monday morning, about 8:25 (AST). Just before sunrise. It was still a little dark, with a light snow, and a balmy 5 degrees. She took this picture later in the day and posted it to Facebook. Why didn't I think of that?
Lydia arrived Sunday about the same time and it was a bit colder, -17. It got up to abou -2 that day.
Kathy arrived on Saturday. It was light out, but I can't remember what time. We only get about 9 hours of daylight here in Nome.
So we are "sitting around" the Nome Nugget Inn, right at the finish line, waiting for Dave and Bonnie. Kathy brought more hot chocolate. Megan brought some Baileys. Hopefully we don't drink too much that we end up falling into the Bering Sea!
