Schools out for the year end break. One more day of finals, and that’s it.
Today was the volkssport walk in South Bethlehem. I did the 6K, which turns out to be more than 7K, and I even made it up the hill to Lehigh.
Now I stopped a lot going up Brodhead to Lehigh. But then I continued walking without stopping thru campus, down Taylor, to Zollner and back Packer to Packer Chapel. Then I had to stop. I recovered, and went to Vine, out Morton, down New and got on the Greenway. I knew if I continued with the others to the casino I’d be hanging out at ArtsQuest a whole.
So at Hayes, I bid them farewell and I went down “Founder’s Way" to the SteelStacks Campus. I waited for them to join me on the Trestle.
Most of the group hadn’t seen the “Four Seasons” sculpture in the spiral stairway, so we made a stop in ArtsQuest for a look-see. We took the elevator to the 4th floor, and worked our way down. Then it was back to the hotel.
With lots of stops I think I did a 5K. And I didn’t come home and take a nap. Since I don’t have shelter duty on Saturday, maybe I’ll try Perkasie.
Monday is my appointment with the orthopedist. The pain has not returned and I do not struggle to walk. I think that the next injection will be held off until I need it. I hope so.
