alternative workout

Bethy let everyone know on Facebook that Aqua Zumba was starting at the Lopat Pool yesterday. It runs every day, 7-8 pm. I was going to go, and then not, but ultimately decided to go. My house is hot and it's 100 degrees outside. Cold water sounded great. Sure, I had to drive a half hour ... in my air conditioned car.

At 5:00 I decided to go. Now what to wear. I ended up wearing the tight fitting tank top from the biggest loser race and my knee-knocker leggings. I need to find better swim clothes. But not a traditional suit. Nobody needs to see that much of me.

Bethy and I trained together for the Avon 2-Day so I know my way around town. But I don't know a single street name. I texted her for instructions to the pool.

It was packed. I'm guessing 45-50 people if not more. We started a hair late and went till 8:10. The lifeguard told her she had to stop. Oops. I had jelly legs when I got out. Walked like a drunk for a minute. I forgot a towel so I got to drive home wet.

When I got home I looked on line and there is a class at the Hellertown pool on Wed./Fri. at 6. That might be a viable option on Fridays. Wednesday is fit camp.

This morning my shoulders hurt. At least part of my torso got a workout!
