fifth day of christmas

Lydia and I tried to walk this morning. With little success.

It was not raining when she left Northampton. It was pouring when she arrived.

We tried going out with umbrellas, but started getting soaked, so we came back. At least Adonis got a walk.

Last night I tried to up my step count by walking and reading. Back and forth from the office to the downstairs bathroom and making circles around the kitchen table.  I managed to squeak my total steps up over 7500. I did not succeed in making the 70K goal for the week. I think it's the first time.

On the other hand, I am reading, and drawing, and recharging my batteries. Maybe that's important too.
