played hookey today

Bonnie asked where we were walking today. My reply was nowhere. I was playing hookey.

Picked a bad day. It was gorgeous out. And I feel fairly guilty, especially after my poor performance yesterday.

My excuse: Traditional school starts in two weeks and I'm not ready. Online school ended and began this week, and I'm barely keeping up. Two long lost projects and a volunteer commitment came back and are in a hurry. I couldn't fit one more thing in. But clearly I did.

I had to get out of the house for a little bit. So instead of walking I went to the Saucon Valley Farmers Market and walked around. Then picked up three dozen ears of corn at another farm for freezing.

Though I really didn't relax, R&R is good for you. At least that's what I tell myself.
